Printing notes
Choose Actual size or 100% scale when printing, not “Fit to page”, or the squares will not measure 1/4" on paper. If your printer cannot reach the edge of the sheet, raise the margin here instead of letting the printer shrink the page.
Common sizes
1/4 inch is the usual US school grid, 1/8 inch suits detailed sketches, 5 mm matches metric squared notebooks, and 1 inch works for quilting layouts and floor plans.
